Privacy policy
The short version. The boxes you tick are never sent to us. We store one number — your final score — plus a name only if you type one in. There are no accounts, no email addresses and no advertising trackers.
What we collect
Your answers
We do not collect them. Scoring happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Which statements you ticked is never transmitted, never logged and never stored, so there is no record of it for anyone to request, leak or subpoena.
Your final score
When your result appears, your browser sends us a single integer between 0 and 100. We use it to count how many tests have been taken, to calculate the site-wide average shown on the home page, and to display your result if you create a share link.
An optional name
If you type a name so that it appears on a shared result card, we store that name alongside the score. Leave it blank and nothing is stored. Do not enter your full legal name, an email address or anything else you would not want a stranger to read.
Your IP address
Recorded with each submitted score, purely for rate limiting so that one person cannot submit thousands of fake results and distort the site's averages. It is not linked to any identity and is not used for advertising or profiling.
Local browser storage
We store two small values on your own device: your light or dark theme preference, and whether you dismissed the cookie notice. Neither is sent to our server. Clearing your browser data removes both.
What we do not do
- We do not create accounts or ask for an email address.
- We do not run advertising networks or behavioural trackers on this site.
- We do not sell, rent or share data with third parties.
- We do not attempt to identify who took any particular test.
How long we keep things
Scores and any names attached to them are kept so that share links continue to work. Because a stored record contains only a number, an optional name and an IP address, it is not personal data that could be traced back to you by us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access or delete personal data a site holds about you. In practice, we hold nothing that lets us find "your" record: there is no account, no email address and no identifier tying a score to a person. If you still have a question, contact us.
Children
Several questions on this test describe adult experiences. The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be summarised here rather than buried.
