What this site is
This site provides a free online version of the Rice Purity Test for entertainment. It is not a psychological assessment, a medical or diagnostic tool, or a measure of anyone's character, morality or worth. Nothing here should be relied on to make a decision about yourself or anyone else.
Using the site
By using the site you agree to the following.
- You will not submit automated or fake results to distort the site's statistics.
- You will not enter another person's name, contact details or any abusive text into the optional name field.
- You will not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
- You are responsible for anything you choose to share publicly, including share links.
We may rate limit, block or remove submissions that break these rules, without notice.
Shared results
A share link displays a score and, if you supplied one, a name. Anyone holding the link can view it. Do not share a link containing information you would not want a stranger to see. We cannot recover or delete a link on request, because nothing in our records ties a link to a person.
Content and accuracy
The guides on this site describe common conventions around the test, including typical score ranges by age. Those are observed patterns reported by people online, not measurements from a controlled study, and we say so on the pages themselves. We aim for accuracy and will correct anything shown to be wrong, but the content is provided as-is with no warranty.
Sensitive material
Some questions describe experiences that may be distressing, including references to substance use, criminal offences and non-consensual acts. You can stop at any point, and skipping a question costs you nothing. If a question raises something you want to talk about, please contact a qualified professional or a support service in your country.
Intellectual property
The Rice Purity Test question list is a long-standing public tradition originating at Rice University and is not our creation. The design, written guides and code of this site are ours. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Rice University.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site, including reliance on any score or guide. The site is provided without warranties of any kind.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continued use of the site means you accept the version in force.
